One room can involve several different drywall jobs

A remodel may need new board on one wall, patches around electrical changes on another, and finishing where new surfaces meet the old ceiling. Describe the whole room rather than counting only the largest opening. That helps Mike discuss the work as one connected scope.

If you only need a small patch, that is welcome too. A doorknob hole and a full-room installation call for different preparation, but both deserve a clear estimate and a finish suited to the surrounding space.

Coordinate the work before closing the walls

For an installation, explain what has already been completed inside the wall or ceiling cavities. Plumbing, electrical work and any required inspections need to be considered before board goes up. Mike can discuss the drywall handoff with you or your contractor.

For rebuilding after a leak or mitigation, the underlying problem and required drying or remediation need to be addressed first. Our role is drywall replacement and finishing, not water extraction or mold removal.

Choose the endpoint, not just the starting task

An estimate should make clear whether the job ends at hanging, a smooth finish, matched texture, or agreed priming and painting. Mention any existing finish you want to keep and whether the adjoining surfaces will be repainted.
