We handle all kinds of drywall work—hanging, taping, smooth finishing, wall and ceiling repairs, replacement, texture matching and remodels. Small repairs are welcome.
A ceiling opened for a pipe repair is a different starting point from drywall damaged by an active leak. Explain what happened and what work has already been completed. If water was involved, the cause and any necessary drying or remediation must be addressed before rebuilding.
I Do Drywall handles the drywall stage: replacement board, joint finishing and the agreed surface treatment. We do not provide leak repair, water extraction or mold-removal services.
For ceiling work, approximate height and the position of the repair help describe the setup. Mention cabinets, stairways, fixtures or other features that affect access. Do not climb into a damaged area to obtain exact measurements for the first call.
Look at the adjoining ceiling and wall finishes from floor level. A replacement section may need texture blending as well as joint finishing. Tell Mike whether the surrounding surface will stay as it is or be repainted.
Our work is not limited to damage repairs. For new rooms and remodels, we also handle hanging, taping and finishing across walls and ceilings. Share which areas are ready and whether other trades still need access.
Contractors can discuss the rebuilding handoff directly with Mike. Agree the remaining drywall tasks, access arrangements and finishing endpoint before lining up the next stage of work.
A section repair may be suitable depending on the damage and the surrounding material. Describe the affected area to Mike so the conversation starts with its actual condition rather than assuming full replacement.
Priming and painting can be discussed with Mike and included where agreed. Clarify the painting area and responsibility separately from board replacement, finishing and texture work.
